Sound advice as always, Doctor Berg. My PCP took me off of Metformin 08-01-2023 at A1C 5.1 after 4 semiannual check-ups. I had been classified as diabetic for more than a decade. It couldn't have happened without you, sir.
I'm currently age 65. Looking forward to many happy memories with my grandchildren.

Thank you for this info, Dr. Berg, but I am confused on this daily veggie intake standard. When I look up how much veggies we are suppose to be eating for the day, I’ve always read 1-2 1/2 cups a day and that doing 4 cups would be too much veggies in a day. They say that it could be “bad?” to go over that recommended veggie intake. So why is it that you (well not just you, I’ve seen a few others say this as well) say that we need about 7-10 cups of veggies each day when a lot of health articles say otherwise? I genuinely want to know because I don’t want to over do it (even though I don’t mind since I love veggies)

I always put my protein in the salad, like a chef salad or steak. I do a lot of shrimp or taco salads too. Then every salad is stopped with a grated hard cheese.

I have for some reason always had salad before the meat. But halfway through salad start on the MEAT!

I take Dr. Berg's Blood Sugar Support and B1 supplements 1st thing in the morning. I've had no cravings and lost 12lbs in 3 weeks. I'm not hungry and only eat dinner with my husband. I've tried in the past and failed. These supplements seem to be the game changer. 60lbs to go.

That doesn’t make any sense. How am I supposed to stay under 20 gram carb with that many vegetables
