It's Dumb To Overload Your Truck!

I overloaded my truck with wet dirt and gravel a couple of times. I hope I didn't cause any damage to my Chevy Silverado's suspension. There are parts other than your truck's suspension that can be damaged when you overload your truck bed hauling materials. LINK TO UNLOADER TOOL BELOW:

Is there a trick to load a truck with gravel? Like it’s on the ground in the street and I need to get it into a truck. How much can a man reasonably load in a day?

I used to do this shit in my F150 with dirt and gravel. I got away lucky; all I had to replace the leaf springs at 240K mi.

That's the least of your problem....
According to insurances....
If you would have gone in an accident....
It would have been your fault and you would have to cover the whole cost because you overloaded the truck pass its maximum capacity....
Folks don't understand that part about insurance....
They think they can get away with it they think they can overload the trucks....
But when it comes down to it....
You would have to flip the bill if you would have gotten an accident...
And ...Yes the trucks could do more from all makes and models...
But the manufacturer puts that sticker for the load rating to cover

Load wasn't your problem.... It was your custom exhaust. You build an exhaust to fit the design of the truck and obviously whoever did your exhaust didn't take into consideration full travel.

Don't be dumb and put airbags and or coilovers on your truck of the occasional 'unsure' moment. lol

To stay out of trouble, I'm not encouraging anyone to push your trucks past any rated limit but use some common sense. If you are loading it and you have some serious sag, at LEAST get under the truck and examine it BEFORE you drive it that way and like I said, coil overs, air bags and other options are available to mitigate sag. And yea, I know these options don't increase any capacity but they were made for reason, use them.

Common sense is a beautiful thing..try it, you might like it.
