I swear Nolan created one of the only films that gets more complicated the more times you watch it.

I love how Christopher Nolan prioritizes practical effect over CGI so that no matter how old the movie gets the action scenes will always age well

In Interstellar, Dr. Brand says, " I'm not afraid of death. I'm an old physicist - I'm afraid of time."
In Tenet, Neil says, " Time isn't the problem, getting out alive is the problem."

Nolan is probably like: Guys time just moves in reverse why is everyone so confused

I'm about eight minutes through the video so far and I'm actually more confused than when I first watched the movie lmao

Playing the “that part is a little dramatic” clip made me realize that when Neil is explaining the plane heist to the protagonist (and us), he’s telling it from memory from when the protagonist tells him. So his presentation and excitement is awesome- he’s finally getting to see something that was only ever explained to him

Most movies assume the audience to be dumb and needing to be spoonfed. Christopher Nolan respects his audience enough to give them a great story through complex themes, plot, and setting. Tenet goes even further and CHALLENGES his audience by presenting us with something truly original and not easy to comprehend. Thank you Christopher Nolan

The CinemaWins guy understands FAR too much of this, so I feel I understand nothing now. But somehow the chemistry between Neil and the Protagonist was stunning and I was absolutely hooked by this movie. It being filmed in my home town and us participating as extras didn't hurt either. Fantastic to witness such professionals working and creating!

I love this deep dive CinemaWins is taking with Tenet.
While it got a mixed reaction, I feel that this is a movie a bit ahead of it's time and will still be talked about in the years to come.

RE: Inverted bodily functions.
Everything in your body would be inverted, so your heart wouldn't start sucking oxygenated blood out of your brain: from your perspective, everything in your body is still moving forward, it's just everything that **wasn't** in your body when you inverted that would be moving backward to you. That's why they need to bring inverted oxygen with them, so they can breathe something that's also moving in the same direction as them. You wouldn't un-digest any food you'd already eaten before inverting, you just wouldn't be able to eat any non-inverted food while inverted.

"It's so Nolan."
Every Christopher Nolan movie in a nutshell.

I absolutely feel the "its probably mostly because I don't love characters dying, I'm sensitive leave me alone" but the delivery also made me lol

Pattinson absolutely killed it in this film. He has some serious acting chops but he went above and beyond here. He has such an easy and affable manner. His character sells this movie and just makes it work. It's his secret knowledge and our realization slowly of the film that he's coming the other direction through the friendship and suddenly so many things he said take on completely different meanings.

I can't imagine how hard this was to film and edit

Neil and Protagonists relationship actually reminded me a lot of The Doctor's and River Song. Where they are meeting in their relationship in reverse order.

On neil’s death: my solution is that, like the glass bulletholes in Oslo, the bullet was within an object (neils helmet) that was inverted, so it was “pissing in the wind”. It dematerializes as Neil runs back to the turnstile.

I know we will never get a sequel but man I would love more Robert Pattinson and JD Washington together.

The people disappearing into the turnstile also confused me at first until I drew out a timeline on paper. Then I got it I was like "That's freakin genius".
