Hi Dave just found your material on Youtube. I love the way you teach I could never understand how to improvise but you are the first teacher ever that can actually break it down for the beginner and take him step by step in the process towards improvization or soloing. Thanx for your all your efforts.

I’ve just realised I watched this a year ago but now it makes more sense because I have just started using triads
Brilliant!

Triad is very essential to understand a tension between notes..It does help my practicing and it is fun to find triad in every major/minor scale(and these two are my favorites🎉). Also inspiring to search them in all 12 keys.

Very good approach in teaching triads and soloing. Your students won't be overwhelmed by too much info. Step by step, like eating an elephant, one bite at a time. Thank you.

Another great lesson! Your right we are always looking for that quick lesson to make us instantly great players. No sense putting the cart before the horse.

You are soooo right...playing the major scale on the high E with the track made me think about improvising just before you said it. Another great lesson, many thanks 😊

Another great lesson. Really helpful how you revisit ideas from previous lessons so there's continuity and reinforcement.

Your improvising is so cool. I wish I could do half of that….I just need to keep working at it.

A lot of good stuff going on in this video. Triad, caged and scales. Content-wise, very good. . But was it just my eyes or did anyone notice the blue wall going green and vice versa?

Nothing too confusing in calling the 5 CAGED chord FORMS (or SHAPES) by their names. Just mention that an A chord, for example, can be played using an E shape (or form) at the 5th fret, etc.CAGED is great, and so are you, Dave! (Love how you handled that cramp!) 😆

Again great stuff. I was wondering if you have a video on how to make 7th. Triads. Like G7 G maj. 7. & the minor 7’s. Thank you kindly.
