GUITAR SCALES Made Easy

Music theory and guitar go together like peanut butter and a cookbook. While it's totally possible to surpass the beginner level of guitar without music theory, you can massively speed up your progress and understanding with some basic music theory.

If that sounds like something you want to do, you came to the right place!

In this video we break down the chromatic scale, the major scale, how to build triads, and basic guitar intervals. It's a lot of information as fast as possible, but also in a very easy to understand way (hopefully).

In future videos we'll be breaking down the circle of fifths, the CAGED system and more, but in order to understand that, you have to start here. Well you could also start with theory books, or go to music school, or another alternative, but this is a good place to start.

Anyway, enjoy. Watch twice if you want. Send to your friends, or your mom, or your friend's mom.

The music as cooking correlation is pretty brilliant, actually.

No one has ever made music theory sound so straightforward for me. Thank you so much for this 🙏🏾

Just called the C chord a triad in front of my guitar buddies and they took me out back and shot me in the head, I'm bleeding out and only have enough time to type out this senten

Wow, music theory is so easy now. I don't even have to buy it dinner first.

Dude, English is not my main language and I've been having issues with Spanish content (which is my main language) because I don't found them entertaining enough. Yours videos are so much fun and enjoyable, and I can understand a bit more about music theory, and I love it.
Thank you so much for mixing music with comedy, and a taste of shitpost. 💕

i've been playing guitar for 25 years and this is truly the coolest video I've seen about job definitely...you actually demystified some stuff that many people struggle with, cause they sound/look pretty difficult or made in a way that they look so...schools really need guys like you...the best way of teaching and letting people enjoy...only people who master things are able to explain them in the simplest possible way...

Your approach is absolutely brilliant. You combine technicalities with silliness which the the IDEAL way for our brains to memorize seamlessly. Your teaching isn’t just great, it’s phenomenal.

dude I love your voice and energy and I don't even own a guitar (would probably pick one up in few months and start learning)
edit: ohh and the flow of your video.. it's just soooo natural and smooth!! I wonder how much time spent writting the script for this video

Holy shit I wish I would’ve known this when I took high school choir. I’ve never in my life heard a better explanation of something I’ve struggled so long with. Like wtf thank you so much

It's kind blowing to me just how much application this one video has. I'm trying to teach myself guitar and every week or so I find myself coming back to watch this again because the concept I'm working on at the time somehow ties back to this again and again and again. Really rock solid video.

This actually told me more than any other vid, every other vid either thinks you dont know a-g in the alphabet or thinks you already know everything and go into super advanced things
