The Spleen exists physically in the body on the left side of the abdomen just behind the stomach. It holds blood, transforms red blood cells, and houses white blood cells that fight infection. The Stomach is near the middle of the abdomen, just to the left. It receives and breaks down food.

Watch the video to learn about the location of the Spleen and Stomach meridians according to Chinese Medicine, and some acupressure points you can use in your yin yoga or active yoga practice:

Does stomach and spleen can help with pain in the left shoulder? Is it important to palpate always the points on both sides of the body? Is child's post with fists placed on stomach 25 a good pose for palpating ST25? Thanks 🧡

Would spleen 22 help start/regulate my period? I've got a lot of things wrong with my spine and I'm on pain meds. I came off tramadol because I discovered that it can interfere with your cycle. Things were getting better but then my periods started to get further and further apart again. I found out that Sevredol, morphine sulphate, can cause cessation of your period. I had taken an extra tablet here and there to compensate for not taking the tramadol. I'm now cutting down the morphine, I'm taking the prescribed dose because my Dr had told me if I needed extra to take it, as it's been nearly three months since I had a period and I feel really stagnant and uncomfortable. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks x
