Top 5 AFFORDABLE RC Cars!

It's that time again and we need to look at some of the best and most affordable RC cars which are currently available.

These videos are some of the hardest to make as there are literally hundreds of options out there that could be on this list but all my lists are based on cars which I have actually tested or reviewed on my channel and not just a made up opinion about something I have seen online.

When looking at ‘Affordable’ options I would generally say that the price range is between $100-300 which for an RC car is definitely affordable. I mean RC is a very expensive hobby!

Generally most people looking to get into the hobby have a couple hundred pounds/dollars to invest in a cool new RC car and with these figures in mind I think this list should benefit those people.

Like mentioned above these lists are incredibly hard to put together and its impossible to include every car out there!

These are just the options I would consider if I was looking for a budget Rc Car in late 2024!

Do you think the Hyper Go still deserves the No.1 Spot? For the price there is very little out there that can compete when it comes to looks/speed/performance and value for money.

I did go ahead and picked up the Hyper Go Citroen rally car, managed to catch it on sale and with incentives got it for $102 USD shipped to my door. That car is an INSANE value at that price, so thank you for the recommendation! I couldn't possibly be happier! But if that's what can be expected out of the other Hyper Go models, I say your list is on the mark!

I just read a post from another viewer noting that the number one car was his intro to the hobby. Funny thing, one of my latest was finally an MJX, the 14303 Citroen rally car, and I absolutely love it. Always considered getting the 14210, just never did. Glad I finally got an MJX though, it is great.

Great video! Funny that the one I have from this list is the number one, the MJX 14210. 😊 It's my first "real" rc car and my intro to the hobby, I couldn't be more happy with it. If in 6 months I'm still into it, the 10208 V2 is on the top of the list to be my next rc car.

I have the Omni Terminator carbon. And I think that deserves to be in the number one spot.. for sure jumps better handles better than the other ones you mentioned. But that's my opinion.😊

Excellent list, I totally agree with your price range. Anything lurking past $300 is expensive for most people, especially new comers

I do agree with your top 5, except the fact that i would include the phantom xt brushless on 2s - wich in my opinion is way above your number 3 or 4, i know because i had them all!

The rlaarlo 3s truggy is pretty badass @ 50 ish mph with a 3s is a wheelie monster fellas . L2 the w just made a vid . I think it was originally released as a brushed version but the 3s version is a nice ground ripper imo with the rlaarlo trimmings and sweet remote . Another $12 or so and it could have a gyro with the dumbo

I agree with the 14210 in the first place there is now even a new V3 with a metal upgrade in the steering and with hex hardware all around for the same price, which is awesome! (maybe you can clarify that in a comment for other people to see)

HBX 2997a needs to be on this list. It's amazing. Bulletproof, 4WD, centre diff, fast on 3S, upgradeable. I exchanged my MJX 14210 for it.

I love my rlaarlo omni terminator, paid $190 on amazon prime, it showed up next day. I was a little disappointed that it was actually 1/10 scale. Its more like 1/12. The 3S performance is soo fun. I also did 2 different part orders from Rlaarlo directly and they showed up within 2 weeks.

Great list, I would agree wth them all except the Gorgon, I have not driven it but I will not buy simply because the spares are acrazy prices. We do own the Omni terminator and that to me would probably be number 1 affordable, its so durable. its one of the only cars we hsve where we confidently sling it in a backpack and just run it around with no issues, , never had to repair yet. For pricing i think sub 300 pounds is do able or most who are serious about getting into the hoddy so the Team associated syncro 4 may be another i would consider. As I said all in all a very solid list and good video.

Make a list like this for crawlers and on road cars please.
