You don't complain about the US. You compare it to an acheivable alternative. ❤

Those who say "Leave" have not been 200 meters outside their small town and have no conception of how things are different even in a neighboring state.

I totally understand you! I’m an American that has been living in France for 13 years. I love America, but after living in Europe on my own, I wouldn’t raise my kids anywhere else. Life is too good here to go back. I’m a single mom and I have a full time job where I don’t make much, but I can make it fine from month to month without credit cards or debt. When I lived in the US, I worked 72 hours per week, made twice as much, and still didn’t have enough to support myself with a college degree. When I came here, it blew my mind what life could be - I don’t need a car to get around (public transport is amazing), healthcare is high quality and affordable, a society where gun violence is rare, education and child care is affordable. Even giving birth in a French hospital was a wonderful experience. I stayed for a week, because the midwives wanted to be sure that breast feeding was a success - and I never saw a single bill from a hospital. I really appreciate and am grateful for the experience here. There are times when as a expat, it can get frustrating - I miss America and my family, but quality of life is simpler and more sustainable for families in these parts.

Lots of love to you! I love your videos and can relate so much to them! Have a beautiful day, everyone.

I lived in Germany and in the Netherlands as a child. There are so many things that I miss about living in Europe. So many US Americans have so completely bought into the idea of American exceptionalism that they are incapable of allowing themselves to see that there are better alternative to so many of the social and economic problems we face every day.

I am so excited to see you and more Americans being outspoken on how broken and horrible the US really is, I have had actual nightmares about not being able to access medical care. It’s so crazy to me that a developed nation is so backwards and dangerous.

I find the differences between countries are fascinating and informative. There are huge culture shocks and it’s nice to listen and share. Keep going!

I love your channel. I love your comparisons and I love that you're showing people that America isn't as wonderful as it claims to be.

Your channel is an excellent antidote to the reality-transformation field the USA is suffering from. More Americans need to wake up to the truth that the standard of living is going down in the USA, and can easily be improved by voting for progressive politicians.

Vote Wisely, people!

I think for some of us born outside the US we have encountered too many Americans with ridiculous views in life and have lowered our tolerance of them.

Being told by a Texan staying in a holiday let in your village that you have an “entry level job” and you “don’t deserve healthcare because everyone else pays for it” or the woman from the Midwest who expresses shock that “you people haven’t been visited by the cps” and bands about phrases like “child neglect” and “unsupervised minors” because children play outside with their friends in the local area. This does not make us more tolerant

Keep up your work to enlighten Americans about Europe.
There are differences but most western European countries are quite similar to Germany when it comes to social security benefits.

Even though I sometimes cross the boundaries (and suffer the consequences), I still look forward to every new video from you.

"Then leave" . USAmericans seem so traumatised. Like they are a person who left their old place to be with a great and rich guy. And he turned out to be ab*sive. But they can't acknowledge it to their friends - or even have an conversation and their relationship - because it would be too painful and embarrassing.
So they lash out when their friend says something positive about any other person: "Pffff, leave, go be with them. I don't care about you anyway."

Other countries say, when criticised/another country promoted, say,
"Sure, but we have this other thing which is also really good".
Or "Ok, their way is better on this thing, we should change ours."
Or "We actually like doing it this other way, and this is why."
