As an accountant, i think the biggest misconception of accountants are there are numerous types. So it really depends on what you need and why. (Audit, Tax, Cost, Forensic, etc)

As a Corporate Accountant (Controller) who was in the military and at one time, needed a top secret clearance...i STILL can't relate to the character in this movie at all...LOL! That being said, it's one of my favorite movies! Great reaction! Keep 'em up!

I really enjoyed this video man. Thank you so so much for this. As a 20 year old I’m trying to get into the accounting field, at times it can be kinda scary or overwhelming, but I’m just really thankful for your honesty and insight. Keep up the good work. 🙏

Davie, I do have a question: why the bleeding hell would a sleazy client ask an accountant to "cook the books" for them? I've taken very basic accounting and learned quickly that it would take a bit of ingenuity to hide sleazy activities such as skimming $200 every two months off a budget of $10, 000. It will STILL show up as a discrepancy. In fact, the teacher did teach us a few ways to catch this act so we can find out if a company or client is lying! She was so strict about it that let's say we write down on the ledger that the client has $10, 000 in assets and spent $5, 000 on equipment, salaries, taxes and travel expenses and we somehow wound up with $4, 900 after deducting everything. Then we were told to always always write +/-$100 in the corner of the ledger so we remember that something is very wrong. Then we were told to go back and point it out and ask very clearly "Where is that $100?"
