Definitely fun over race. Love being outdoors, the views, the smell... But whilst being outdoors, I also love to keep the pace up and push myself :)

I'm a "stop and smell the roses and enjoy nature" kind of person, I'm not in a hurry.

I’ll watch a multi part series where you paint a bike doddy. Have a go at it.

Being on my own personal edge immersed in nature is where it’s at.

The paint job on the Yeti. I'd call it Unicorn Vomit.

I love the challenge of climbing, the fast puzzle aspect of technical trail riding, the serenity of the mountains, and the overall mind cleanse mountain biking brings.

I'm registered blind, so I cannot go tip speed. For me, it's about pushing my li.its. even going over a small jump is an amazing experiance. Fun for the win!🙂🙂🙂

I ride for lots of different reasons, for the social, nerding out about bikes, photography and getting some thrills

I think going fast is the most fun, or as fast as I can go, pushing myself is more fun for me. I don’t use strava though.

Well Doddy, I have this problem... I like to tell myself I am going to just go out and take it easy and have fun..I shortly find myself winded and barreling around the corner completely forgetting what I was just thinking.

I'm old, 55 this year. Been riding bikes forever, this year upgraded to ALL the new things, and visited the ER too. This said, you are absolutely correct. It not always about racing, sometimes it's about accomplishment, a hill that you concur in 2021 that you haven't done since 1995. Sometimes is a measure of how far the industry has advanced, like the delta between a 2002 RockShox SID with 68mm of travel to a current Lyrik with 160mm. Sometimes you just see how the trails have changed/adapted with erosion and usage. ... and you already cover the scenes of early morning nature and light.

PANDEMIC has SUCKED, but I rode my antique IBIS Alibi until my RipMo was delivered. In those 1000 miles, I lost 50 lbs, needed to stop taking HBP (high blood pressure) meds and visited trails from the 90's. Pandemic has been good for me, and off road trails have just been waiting for me to come back again.

Take a look at the Pipedream badge. Got a Moxie myself and i always look back at the shining silver badge when storing my bike in the garage after a ride.
