It always blow my mind how much skill and confidence is needed in MTB compared to normal riding. I taught my roommate some basic things and it’s very eye opening as to how much you need to learn, and how much of it becomes second nature after a handful of rides. Pretty awesome stuff!

I'm not that good at "MTBing" but have riding for 25 years and this video gave me some good points on how to explain and teach others to what seems natural to me!

You guys should do this with each presenter getting a different rider to train over a few videos. Would be cool to see progression over a few weeks from start to finish as well as each presenters different styles of teaching!

only thing i think was wrong from start was her siting position was way to low which cause instability and completely different feeling and confidence
great job Natalie, more rides more time on bike and confidence and feeling will come, keep the good work

It is definitely important to learn how to be comfortable standing and pedalling as well as coasting with pedals level and turning the bike. Something you can learn while in a parking lot. The more comfortable you are standing the easier it will be to learn mountain biking.

Fair play to her. She did brilliant and took it like a champ. Love to see more of her progression. Keep pedalling 🤘

This is great. Really good to remember back what we were all inexperienced and see what it took for us to get there and where at this point we all now take for granted of what feels natural now. She is a real trooper for being on film as she tries to learn. She has a great attitude and looks like she is going to be another member of the mountain biking world!

Such graceful falling over…. and still smiling. If Mountain Biking is this much fun we should all get out there and do it. Great job Natalie; keep going and let us all know how you’re getting on

Great video, made me smile😊 It just shows how we take it for granted how easy it is to just get on our bikes and ride the trails. Seeing a beginner riding a trail for the first time is an eye opener! Well done to Natalie for getting back on the bike after a couple of tumbles!
