As for the utility video, I work for a communications company and all utilities have easement rights which allows us access to our equipment including what is attached to the house. The situation in the video is likely an issue of "rear easement" where the utility poles are installed on the back side of properties for reasons like the road is narrow or houses very close to the road. It's popular in some states or towns more than others.

If I see a customer that has one item behind me I let them go first but you can't expect that. Its like someone that lets you in a traffic line its up to the person to be nice.

I really like how the lady at the Dunkin Donuts window challenged the customer to see if he could get her fired. I guess he forgot to ask the DM about that when he talked to them about pulling forward.
