I worked for a Walmart for 6 years as a customer service manager, and I can't even begin to tell you the horror and out right OMG people I've seen and had to interact with. From a guy who want change back on a coupon, to a guy who got a full size horse, yes, a horse into the store as a comfort/service animal, to a naked guy painting in blue like an Avatar character. We had a woman park her car in the cart storage opening, even saw a large woman wearing a belt that had 6 loops on it and each loop had a rope and on the end of each rope was a child in a vest tied at the end, I'm not kidding, she looked some sort of monster from DOOM as she walked these kids were all out in different directions screaming grabbing and yelling. I even had a woman who let her kid eat a bunch of bananas, and when it came time to pay she was shocked that they are weighed!!! She wanted to weigh the empty banana skins, then her child, when I brought bananas to weigh in place of all that were eaten, she got mad because the bunch I brought were apparently too big and too much, she was a nut to deal with. I could go on and on, trust me if you want a public adventure get a job at Walmart and try to be a customer service manager, first line of defense for upper management you will see, hear, and smell some crazy stuff. People are definitely strange and crazy. Thanks for reading and thanks for posting brought back memories.

As a mother of 2, I can honestly say that sometimes you need a "Please Don't Touch the Baby" sign. Some people see a baby and lose their minds! Especially when they are newborn or still very young. They think it's acceptable to touch other people's kids just because they are tiny and cute. I had one try to take my month old baby out of his car seat to "show me how easy it was". We left. People are so invasive and scary when it comes to kids sometimes.

A few days before Christmas maybe 10 years ago 2 people got into an argument at the register. Someone started singing a carol and about 100 other customers joined in. Embarrassed the arguers stopped fighting. It was quite amazing. Happened in Stone Mountain GA

A couple years back I saw a lady on the electric shopping cart With two dogs leashed to the front saying mush, and yelling around the store. It was the weirdest day at a Walmart I’ve ever seen.

When I left NYC (no WallMart) and shopped at the Wallmart in WA I was shocked that there was a man that had his pants opened up and his stuff hanging out. What was bizarre that NO ONE such as Management or staff did anything. I called the police and they took him away. Turns out he was mentally challenged and apparantly had done it prior - yet no responce from Walmart!!!

I rarely, rarely go to Wal-Mart... But since this pandemic started, I literally had no choice. Everyone had face coverings of some sort on but there was a dude at the self checkout in a literal HazMat Suit. I mean, I get it, but it was a tiny bit much. I hurriedly walked out.

On a mid-temp winter day and you haven't shaved your legs, you can wear any kind of shorts over the leggings so you have pockets. Makes perfect sense.
