On March 22, 2022, a Mount Vernon police officer responded to a call from Walmart, requesting a man be issued a no trespassing order for a fraudulent return. Reuters reported in 2015 that Walmart loses about $3 billion every year to theft. How much do you think that is today? Comment below.

It’s one thing getting escorted by a cop that is embarrassing, but to have the loudest cart in the history of Walmart drawing in more attention is on a whole new level 😂

I worked at a ToysRus and the way they handled fraudulent returns was awesome. They'd put it on a gift card then cancel the gift card.

There may always be someone watching, but there's almost nobody when you need help.

The shopping cart with the bad wheel should have been arrested for disturbing the peace.

I don't know how they do it but that's the same shopping cart I get everytime I go to Walmart.

The fact that he has receipts in every pocket and his wallet is stuffed with them shows how often he pulls this.

I was recently at Walmart and went through the self check out, had trouble with the last item that wouldn’t scan, I called the attendant, she typed in the numbers, and bagged it and put it in my cart. She said you’re good to go, I thanked her and walked out forgetting to pay, got home looked for my receipt, then felt in my jacket pocket, and there was the 2 20 dollar bills I was going to pay with, I put everything back in my car and went back to Walmart, explained what happened, the girl, rolled her eyes, and said. You are nuts coming back, but I told her I had to pay for the stuff, my conscience made me….. btw, I am 84, and my mind isn’t too sharp sometimes.

Everyone that is caught should have their picture taken and they get put up on the wall of shame!

“I’ll see you guys later” might be the best trespass response ever. Implies he will break the law again

I wonder how many shoppers saw the cop and thought “Oh crap he is here for me”!

Sooo, if it was fraudulent, how did they allow him to walk out with all that stuff? Including the boots he supposedly acquired fraudulently.

I love how, at the end, he takes the boots with him anyway.

When I was a manager at Wal-Mart, I had a customer come back in the store and tell me that he had just bought a microwave but forgot to take it with him. I was so sure he was trying to scam us so I asked him which register did you go through. He told me the number and went down there to speak with the cashier (this was back when they actually rang you up). Sure enough there was his microwave sitting at the end and the girl told me that he must have forgot it. You can't always assume the worst.

We had a guy in my city going to Home Depot’s and Lowe’s taking lawn mowers from outside. He would walk inside and ask to return it. The store would ask for a receipt. He would claim it’s back at home. Store would decline to accept it. He would ask store employees to help him load it back up. He would leave with a lawn mower. He did this about 9 times before they caught him lol

So many people steal from Walmart and get away with it it’s insane.

The fact that he doesn't even try to discuss his 'innocence' when the cop first approaches him screams guilty right off the bat. People would normally feel enraged of being thrown out of somewhere when they did nothing wrong, this guy just casually sees the cop and is like "oh, you are here".

When I worked at Walmart back in 2008, these two females would come in and fill their carts with the same exact items. The one female would go back in electronics to pay for her stuff, saying “oh it’s crowded up front”. Meanwhile, the other female, is just walking around with the stuff in her cart.

The first female then goes and put her stuff in the car. Then comes back into the store and goes to find the second female. Once she finds her, she slips her the receipt. Then the second female then goes up to customer service desk and returns everything. So basically they got everything for free. But the pair was caught a couple of hours later cus they got greedy and tried the same again at another Walmart a few miles down the road smh

Stunts like this are the reason stores are making returns more difficult. And since he had no consequences, he'll do it again.

How can you trespass someone expecting to tell him never to come back in again when he has a mask on and you don't even know what his face looks like. Ask him to take his face mask off and take his picture
