If you are wondering why the Ekweremadu family did not find a close genetic relation as an organ donor for their relative, thus avoiding the brouhaha with the Met Police, this video will help address some of your questions.

From the start (00:00) we look at:
02:59 - What are the criteria for someone to become an organ donor in the UK?
08:58 - What is the process of becoming a living donor?
10:00 - What are the complications if you decide to donate your kidney? Can issues arise in the short/medium or long term?
13:04 - What tests (in the UK) are used to decide whether one person is a suitable donor for another?
17:15 - And lastly, are there any conditions that may have prevented the Ekweremadu family members from donating - age/pre-existing medical problems and so on.

The rich want to live forever and are afraid to die. They do not care about us the poor ones.
Ekweremadu never wanted to involve his own family because of their wealth.

Very good video. Well done.

My decision to donate would be guided by my relationship to the person and love. My wife, children, siblings, no hesitation whatsoever. Others unlikely, but nothing totally ruled out. I'm not worried about risks of such surgery.

On my own i will not go donating my organs not even to family members but I'll seek God in prayer to accept to do or not to do because its important that am the right person to donate my organs let it not be yhat i carelessly and with my own self righteousness try to be a savior of the situation and end up losing my own life.
Let the spirit of God lead you on the right direction to go

Why cannot any of the Ekweremadus do the organ donation? It is always the poor that bears the burden of the rich

Very informative video. I appreciate it. I am wondering why the parents or relatives could not donate one kidney to their daughter? Perhaps they had health complications that prevented them from donating to their daughter. The Senator and his wife were recently convicted. At first, I was empathetic towards them as I thought they were in a moral dilemma trying to save their daughter. However, after hearing the case, I now believe they deserved to be jailed. The ends cannot justify the means. They tried to exploit the poverty of a young man and use him as a means to save their daughter. They also lied and claimed he was a family member, which made it an obvious case of human trafficking.

This is a clear case of David and Goliath, one of the times I have seen money fail. If Nigerian judiciary can be like this, all these politicians would def get what they deserve
