Worms are good bait but they're also used in stick traps for getting birds. While it takes longer to get meat you can bait a trap far away from your fishing hole and get birds while you fish.

You can find worms from digging up dirt into a sack to place elsewhere for farming. Meet your short term and long term sustainability goals by gathering dirt for your garden while getting bait for your fish.

I said this on you last short but I want to make sure you saw it

I have a tip to move faster while injured
Hold your jogging key and press the button of the direction you want to go and it’ll do a running start up animation then let go of your movement keys them press them again so you character does the run start up animation again then rinse and repeat till your where you want to be
Only do thing when you’re injured because that running animation is faster than limping
Also it works if you’re tired

Great stuff. Fishing level 5 is a major grind though, even with +fishing modifiers. So may be worthwhile to use those tackles earlier if you really need the calories!

You can also get worms by composting rotten food. Great for when the power goes out and you happen to be around shops and restaurants that mainly have perishable food.

i mainly use the Master-Bait to get a 10 salmon instead of a tiny 1 inch sardine

when you get junk while fishing it give more xp then an acutal fish so its better to get junk at low lvl so always try to get bait fish asap
