I love all your tips because they just work. For instance the tip on flipping a tube with a bead on it with the bobber stop 2 inches above it. I’m nailing the fish on that system. I guess what. Yesterday I went out last night and I finished your missile Ikes mini swim jig in Ikes secret color 7/16 oz and the first time in my life I caught a fish, several fish on a your swim jig! Mike you’re awesome I appreciate everything you

The 3(ish) inch swimbait is my go to lure all year long. Here up north (Michigan) the bass focus on smaller baitfish. Most of them seem to love anything perch colored. I usually have my GF toss this when we go out together. She calls it the "bass master". Landed a 21" FAT prespawn largie on it last week.

So my girl got in to fishing and I was kinda in to it but hadnt caught much besides a few bass.

Took her out on the water one day and we had picked up some rip shads earlier that day. We were picking off perch, sinfish, crappie, rockbass, LMB, Smallies like you wouldnt believe. So these are in our tackle box forever. Glad to see a video that backs up how well these work

Small swimbaits are killer. I have found the smallest size of the berkley agent E or and smaller Megabass dark sleeper are really awesome to just cast and retrieve. Obviously any ribbed paddle tails are great. Like the 2.5-3 inch ranges.

Good morning Ike! I'm an experienced fisherman with many years under my belt. But I always like watching these beginner episodes... most times they remind me of the simplicity that fishing can be! This one on finesse swimbaits was excellent.

Rooster tail catches everything!
I have caught every fish in my area to include a catfish

I thought you were going to say the curly tail grub. That would've been my pick. Old school.but not obsolete. Still crushes em like it always did. Paddle tails are obviously great too.

Beginner here! Looking forward to the series.
I took your advice regarding the three-rod setup for my beginner go-to. (MH, M, M spinner)

Rooster tails have been my go to for years.
If I walk up on any body of water it catches something 😂. Can’t target species but I can catch something everytime

My personal recommendation for swimbaits are the kaitech easy shiner, 3" or 4" 👌
