This is definitely a case of an ignorant public being presented with a fantastic action film and great homage to Edgar Rice Burroughs and them not realising what it is.
Those of us who encountered, and fell in love with ERB and his many literary creations in our formative years fully understood what a great thing this movie was and what it represented. Unfortunately the drooling masses are dumb, and if they don't know what something is or if they aren't spoon fed the right amount of information in easily digestible chunks they just ignore it.
Edgar Rice Burroughs will forever remain one of the most influential and important early pioneers of the action/adventure even if a movie version of his brilliant John Carter stories flops financially it will never cause his legacy to diminish or be forgotten by those who cherish his works.

John carter was so good & people still searching, remembering it after years (while many hits forgotten, saturated) it stands still & fans feel relatable with the lead as we all travel, journey with him😍😃🌟✨🙌 (a movie never been relatable this before from start to end other tham Tobey Maguire Spiderman, wolverine but some parts mostly)
one tip for you: make lobg shorts, try to elaborate further with reasons, received by fans & stop putting the exact words at description..
It feels like not much interested work from you with robot voice adding it too..
