Lucas Engine Stop leak REALLY WORKS!!! I have a older model lexus V8 always ran 0-20 full syn. I started getting oil blow (around 120K) by the spark plug oil tubes causing oil to spill on my exhaust manifold. Drove it for 100 miles non stop after oil change, did a hard pull around 60 miles in after change to see if I could smell burning oil, which I usually do! and NO MORE BURNING OIL!!! I do worry about the viscosity since I added 2 quarts of stop leak to 7qts of full syn. (System capacity of 9.1)
Also after listening to the motor it really is much more quiet now compared to the usual V8 DOHC 32 valve chatter I hear under the hood of this thing..
No lie this motor is purring like a kitten now.
P.S. I'll come back after a couple of 30°F cold starts. Like I said this motor is usually pretty chatty!

Had two days with temps under 32°F. On start up's, no dry start. The starter motor sounds strong, so I would think all the components are well lubed! This stop leak is lucas oil stabilizer thick!
With that said I usually hear chatter from this motor ever since the stop leak it sounds alot quieter. This is only a temporary fix to my problem. Until I have time to put it into the shop for a couple of days to get those spark oil tubes replaced. After that I'll be using 5w-20 from now on.

Can I use it on 04 civic it uses 5W 20 oil....isn't Lucas to thick for 5W 20

Is this safe for turbos? And would it possibly help the oil pickup tube seal leak in my 2001 Volvo V70? After driving a while, when idling I sometime likes to flicker the oil pressure warning light on an off saying no oil pressure, and some research shows that could be leaking pickup line seals allowing air to be picked up along with oil. Would this help? I'll do actual repairs when possible but I want to at least get I through the winter.
