Lucas products work great. If you pay attention to your car or truck. This product is a stop gap not a repair. I use lucas high mileage oil stabilizer every oil change. My 2007 ford expedition has over 300k miles original motor and transmission original timing components.

Any "stop leak" is meant to be temporary at best. Replace the seal or part that's leaking.

Never put snake oil in your car, just do the repairs it needs.

See the Project Farm video about these products. AT-205 won for best seal reconditioning.

Use the blue devil. I've used 15 of the Lucas and it didn't stop my leak. Blue devil worked first use

Get some AT-205, it restores the seals and helps them retain their pliability and “seal” properly again.

The lucas really works maybe not to stop leaks but prevents excessive wear on the camshaft lifters and bearings as opposed to just using regular oil don't believe me? Watch "Project Farm lucas test"

Hello it's not going to stop everything. you could have a physical metal leak or a hole too big to patch. It doesn't mean the product doesn't work. It's a great product to try before you spend $500+ fixing the leak at shop

Should be noted this stuff works great with small leaks but the greater in size they get the harder it is for this product to be efficient. As many others said if you’re leak is significant just do the needed repairs.

Welp, i guess my engine won't leak again from the hole on the block where my rod flew through

How about they release the leaking gaskets and seals and switch to a 5w30 full synthetic oil for high mileage engines, there leak fixed and with good quality oil and filter and 3000-5000 mile oil change interval and that engine will love you.

If i had ever found a mechanic used any type of "fix leak" in my vehicle there'd be hell to pay. 😂😂 thankfully i fix my own shit.

What kind of oil leak was it. It just swells the gaskets and rehydrates them so they swell and reseals. It doesnt stop leaks if theres a cracked, crumbling, or broken gasket

It says right on the bottle to "give it a few days to work"

Stop leak, all it is is additives and rubber conditioners that make gaskets and o-rings swell or soften up a bit. It doesn't fix anything obviously but ehh it could work temporarily on an old bucket car lol

Will only revitalise rubbers to some extent, will cause more metal to metal wear an tear

I don’t think you said what was leaking. It won’t fix gaskets, oil pan, valve covers etc. Nothing will stop those unless ya replace. It will slow or stop a minor rear seal or other seal leaks, but ya gotta use it all the time.
To fix it, ya gotta fix it properly.

How does it know which holes to plug up? It blocks oil from seals but lets it through the lifter channel. I bet.

Should’ve poured it first and then also you need to keep using it for some oil changes
