She’s not “suing them 2 years later” she definitely filed a suit right after it happened but that’s how long the court takes to process it.

“Stop resisting”…as they use excessively force by twisting her hands and arms in extremely violent fashion.

We've investigated ourselves, and found no wrong doing.

Charges dropped. That's is now considered a not guilty verdict. Suing is absolutely required.

Qualified immunity isn't going anywhere, as long as it protects politicians.

People need to be aware that freedom of the press belongs to any US Citizen. You have the right to take photos and videos in public. You can not be trespassed from public areas.

For a closed park, there seemed to be quite a few people there.

Those cops are so strong and brave! And, it only took three or four to arrest a young lady. Their families must be so proud of them.

Nothing will change until the police are held accountable personally.

Notice how the cops automatically go to "Stop Resisting!" when she cries out in pain. It's the song of their people.

The irony of arresting a reporter for trespassing in the middle of a sea of illegal tents.

I am so tired of LEOs getting this wrong again and again. We are allowed to record in public. Anyone recording in public is exercising free press. Any officers trying to criminalize public recording should be considered highly suspicious.

Qualified immunity will only end when all the people want it so badly the government will have no choice but to give it to them not only should it go but it must go.

When a cops say "okay, I'm telling you right now" he's about to break the law.

Reporter or not, this was a public place. These police officers could have used a lot better judgment. Retired police corporal here.
