Erect things tend to swing also... Winds affect differently lying down. Stability is major issue so speed is very limited for upright transport.

Also steering an extremely long vehicle might not be the easiest and needs everything to be planned so it fits through

Im pretty sure that the N1/L3 was actually the heaviest rocket ever built.

Pretty sure with a rocket the size of the Starship Heavy Booster it's also a structural issue as it would tend to collapse on itself if laid horizontally.

Dont forget
Shuttles without fuel, are FLIMSY (like a soda can after being opened).
Basically, without the outword pressure from the fuel and oxidizers, the walls are easy to bend.
Every LB/KG counts, so they dont (usualy) build them strong enough to support themselves on their side without fuel.

I know it doesn’t work like this but I like imagining that in the future we’re gonna have rockets delivered to the launchpad in pieces and the pieces are lifted on top of each other and secured with a crane or something.

And you totally forgot to mention that a number of PAYLOADS are absolutely required to remain in the vertical position, hence the REQUIREMENT for VERTICAL ASSEMBLY. The payload has to be designed to withstand horizontal positioning.

Can you even say "Rockets are often single use"? It's true if you consider different rockets but if you're just counting all rockets launched this year for example, quite a few were reused :)

Very soon space X will fly rockets from factory and vertically land them on lunch pads without need for transporting vehicles 😂

I don't get it, how do we seem to have forgotten how to go to the moon, land on the moon, drive a vehicle on the moon, yet today we don't remember how we did it. Did it really happen, or was that all a hoax. If it was a hoax, what did that accomplish?
I'm not the only skeptic.
