ppl forget that the fusion dance's time gets reduced aswell, + in the manga, it was stated that vegito had 20 mins left, which means he was fused for 40 mins, the reason he defused was bcz of the lack of mastery of ssjb and going into it right away, not building up from base, ssj, to blue. Like gogeta did.

Gogeta is stronger because there is no power limit. The Zamasu/Black arc in DBS showed us that if Vegito unleashes too much power, then the fusion breaks before the time limit. So far there hasn't been such a limitation on fusions with the fusion dance (Gogeta/Gotenks).

Vegito is essentially a combination of Goku's playfulness and Vegeta's arrogance, while Gogeta is Goku's sense of justice combined with Vegeta's ferocity. Gogeta doesn't joke around, he barely speaks to his opponents, he simply kills what he has to kill.

Gogeta wins because the fusion adds the power of Goku and Vegeta and the number that comes out in power is multiplied by three
Instead the potara add fighting power and nothing else

People keep thinking because Gogeta wins his fights, that makes him stronger. No. Vegito in zamasu fight used an imperfect SSJB which had massive ki leakage and 0 ki control hence why his time was burned out so fast. Its like using kaioken for example. Gogeta used a perfect SSJB WHICH at the time of Super Broly, Goku and Vegeta had SSJBE and SSJB times Kaioken in their arsenal and mastered ki control for the form PLUS the massive zenkai boosts they got in the T.O.P before. If they had used Vegito in that fight, the timer would have lasted longer for Vegito and he would've beaten Broly aswell since it's a movie fight and not a series fight. Both fusions are equal as far as im concerned, Gogeta is just more reliable when there's a serious threat while Vegito has too much of an Ego where he doesn't feel the need to end the fight instantly or he simply can't due to technical reasons such as the Buu saga when his plan was to find a way to save everyone buu ate and zamasu fight where zamasu had regeneration hax.

With gogeta, goku has more power than vegeta so he has to hold back some of his power so it would be exactly the same. But with vegito both can go all out without having to supress there power. Therefore Vegito wins

There is absolutely no statement which says that the fusion dance is stronger than the potara the potara is always stronger than the fusion dance and considered to be far superior the only time people confuse it is with the fusion reborn statement which says gogeta could beat vegito if his time limit didn't run out but that just talks about movie gogeta versus Buu saga vegito in which movie Goku and Vegeta are way stronger than Buu saga versions so vegito claps gogeta and I don't know why people think gogeta can keep up with him.
