20 Frozen Fan Theories So Crazy They Might Be True

Hi ScreenRanters! Let’s take a whimsical trip to Arendelle and go over a load of fan theories for Frozen! Yay, coldness! Frozen 2 is going to be at a cinema near you in November. In order to get building that excitement, we wanted to get our noggins working and wonder what direction the franchise could take. As well as fill in a load of information blanks that popped up in the first animation epic. We’re very inquisitive and have a lot of free time. So, we worked and worked to help give you a Disney fix.

Anna and Elsa took the world by storm with their debut film based in Norway. With Kristoff and Hans playing the love interests. As well as Hans filling in the fun villain role too! While Olaf provided the comic relief, Elsa was struggling to cope with the vast ice power within her. Now that we’ve given you a little recap of sorts. Let’s delve into some theories! Like, who’s the real villains of the film? The king and queen or the trolls? Or what powers could Anna have? Maybe another character has powers? Is there a superhero team that Elsa could join? How do Tarzan, Quasimodo, Ariel, and Rapunzel fit into the world of Frozen? Well, we have the answers to all these queries and more! Look at the video above to find out! Okay time to punch holes in some of the theories.
1) Esla was born with her powers. Tangled got hers from a magic flower.
2) Tarzan surname was Greylord.
3) The one where Esla's powers is her coming into womanhood is laughable, since she had the powers when she was a little girl (born with the powers).
4) Tangled could be related to Elsa, but it doesn't have to be so. Friendly kingdoms would go to other Royal weddings.
5) If Tarzan is Elsa's brother what powers does he have besides talking to the apes that raised him?
6) Kristoffer is not wearing Sven's mother. Sven's mother probably died while both the boy and reindeer was small, so you can't judge what Kristoffer wears as a grown man.

My theory:
Elsa is a waterbender
Anna is a firebender
The wind and earth spirits will collide together with them and become the avatar.

I disagree with the “sword made of ice” thing. If you look closely at the frame, the metal on the sword actually becomes encased in a thin layer of frost as it inches towards Anna’s frozen hand. Considering the ice is magic, and Anna is physically being frozen solid, she was so cold that the blade actually dropped so much in temperature that it nearly froze itself and shattered. You can also say that it’s easier for the sword to do this because it’s made of metal, which makes it a conductor, not an insulator, and that means it would be easier to heat up or cool down.

Wow... Sven would NOT be able to smell his mother after that many years. Not washing it, would mean that Kristoff's scent had taken over; while washing it at least once a year would already washed away her scent.

I would like to add one more theory:
When Disney made frozen they were already planning to make frozen 2 because at the very starting, before the Disney castle shows up, some sort of song plays and if you heard it, then you will probably realise that it is the Northuldra National Anthem type song in frozen 2.

Ok... Rapunzel's ability comes from the flower that was used to save the mother while pregnant. Han's gloves is a metaphor for hiding a secret hence why Elsa looses hers after her powers are shown. And thanks to Frozen 2, much of the power theories are disproven so I won't go into that.

Popular theory: Anna has powers. My fave theory. When she went to the trolls remember what Grandpabby said. "I suggest we remove all magic, even the memory of magic" so HE locked away Anna's powers, hence why the white streak never went away even after being healed. Now that its gone and the spell is broken perhaps we'll see some Anna powers in Frozen 2.

The Stabbington Brothers could not be Hans' brothers. Maybe they share some sort of long-lineage relationship, but I don't think that some PRINCES would go around stealing crowns... Since Hans is a prince, so are his brothers. That's the entire plot. Plus, the Stabbington Brothers look a lot older than Hans, meaning they are closer to the throne. So there is no way that they have a similar idea to him, find another way to be royal (or in this case, rich) by stealing (Hans stole hearts, the Stabbington Brothers stole valuables).
