I would suggest you to go with Ddpai dash cameras, they basically comes with super capacitors instead of lithium ion battery.... as Indian climate is mostly hot, Dash cams tends to heat up that might have adverse effect on batteries, may lead to burst...

it's better to consider Dash cams with supercapacitor ... I'm using ddpain mini 5 as front camera and ddpai mini 3 as rear camera..

Also ddpai comes with inbuilt emmc storage... always better than memory cards

You go with hardwire as it's a coupler to coupler connection...
You also have option to disable dashcam of it detects car battery voltage <14.2mV

Funny thing is Qubo is made in India but it detects even the tiniest bump on road as if it was designed for smooth European roads.😂 And its really annoying when it keeps going ding ding ding for every small vibration on the road - and this is with the LOWEST sensitivity setting. You can't go below this or switch it off.🥴

I have been using the a800s . I find the 1080p footage in this 4k camera more clear than the 4k . Better lowlight performance and faster transfer of files. The gps feature is a good addition and app is fairly simple to use

Good quick review. But few important aspects such as video stability as roads in india will bring in shakes. Also hardwiring options are critically important for people as parking videos/timelapses are good to have features when investing on dashcams. India needs more options and am surprised these are not added as part original OEM equipment.

Bro, after my lot of research I planned to buy "DDPAI MOLA N3 PRO GPS" dashcam(2k front & 1080p rear) but now in india its rate is around 9k to 10k..
When I searched its price history, the lowest priced marked is 7k in great Indian festival.

When I searched in global site, the present rate is in US dollar. it's value is around 7k. And in offer time we get it n 5.5k...

70mai big screen dual dashcam mounted on IRVM is also good, specially for those cars having no rearview camera. It serves the dual purpose. Image quality is also good. Uning it from last year without issue

70mai Rearview Dash Cam Wide is way better than all options shown in this video. I'm using it since 2021 on my Nexon. Very useful in monsoon and winters. It's work as a dashcam as well as wide angle rearview. I love it.

You should have tested 70mai Dashcam wide with night vision rear camera in the Rs.10, 000 category, which can be mounted outside the car near the numberplate as it is water and dust proof. The 10 inch 1080p IPS screen switches to rear camera, when reverse gear is used and the rear camera has one unique feature where the normal view is wide but switches to low view of the road while reversing the car. The 10 inch non touch IPS display comes handy. The rear view camera is added feature for cars without rear defoggers.

I am using 70mai Smart Dash Cam 1S, 1080P Full HD for almost a year but not facing any issues with it.
Picture/video quality in day/night are good.
For photos and loop videos as in general (auto removed based on FIFO-First In First Out).
Only thing which I didn't like is max 64G memory card supported and for emergency video you need to delete it manually.

I feel like one of the cons worth mentioning for Hikvision is that it is a "Chinese state-owned manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance equipment" with a track record of spying on people (domestically in China).

Of course, doing this opens a Pandora's box about Chinese devices, removing every option discussed except Qubo (which I'm assuming also uses Chinese components, but one would hope Hero removed the trackers).
