Sorry the Garmin mini 2 is extremely weak against high heat conditions. This is a bad camera for places where it gets over 85 degrees F.

There is a much better product for those that want/need a HARD -Wired power cord so they can use the Parking Mode of their dash cam.
NO NEED TO BUY a hard wire power cord & then have the hassle of hard wiring it or paying someone several hundred dollars to hart-wire it for them.

Garmin OBD Power Cord - will provide power 24/7 to any USB device. Simply plug one end of the power cord into their vehicle's OBD port & the other end into their dashcam - easy peasy.

I sincerely hope you will say something about the Garmin OBD power cord alternative. I have little doubt everyone will prefer the Garmin OBD power cord in preference to any manufactures HARD-Wire power cord UNLESS YOU have the technical know-how to install a hard-wire kit YOURSELF.

Because how are we supposed to differentiate between which one you think is better if one dashcam is “best for most people” and another one is “best for front and rear view”.
