Показать описание
If you have been to Manchester then you almost certainly stood above secret underground spaces. Manchester is covered in hidden tunnels, ruins and huge open spaces 30 to 80ft below modern street level. Today we are literally dropping down a manhole to our first underground space..... The Victorian arches!

It really is an underground city down there and we will explore it all!!!!

We went 200ft deep in to a underground cave and found 500 classic cars abandoned next to a lagoon... Sounds to crazy to be true right? Look for yourself 😁

How wonderful for you to be so young. I am 61 & am old enough to let you know that Public Toilets were a thing of pride up until the early 1970s, . These conveniences were looked after by full time staff, cleaned, stocked & maintained. As you entered them you were welcomed by the keeper, the toilets themselves have both electric & natural light, fully tiled with brass & copper fittings that had to be cleaned & polished weekly by the Keeper. The counter you saw & assumed should not have been in toilets was where The Keeper kept hand towels & soap as don't forget paper towels etc are fairly modern. These were the days where people had pride & respect for public spaces rather than the scum who populate our cities these days. Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Tried to find info about that can of lemonade at 22:57 but there doesn't seem to be any record online.. the address on the side reads "Moffat, Woodford Green, Essex, IG8 8EX"

Update: Actually had another look but this time on trademarks.. found the company with matching logo and their earliest registered trademark is listed as 5th December 1978.. meaning the person who left it there must have been an explorer themselves from quite a long time ago!

I never knew about these tunnnels, it's so strange to think I was walking through the centre of Manchester yesterday, probably walking right above these tunnels.
Stuff like this makes me wonder, what would happen if the streets above collapsed, the truth would come out..

It took a while to work out where you was in the tunnels, behind one of them bricked up tunnels is apparently the potters bar rail disaster train, I was working down in the tunnels clearing them out opposite Victoria train station there is access to the tunnels there too. And there is also a underground pub bar we started ripping to out but the work was called off due to asbestos.. opposite Victoria station you will see a black fence and a gate with steps down to a road the access is there. Good luck and be safe 👍

At 30:58 I laughed until I hurt when the guy blew an ass gasket, rotflmfao!!!! Oh my god that was awsome, I would do some shit like that. I watched it 4 times...😅😂🤣😂😅😂😂 I now have probably watched it 20 times, and sent it to I don't know how many other people. I realize it was a serious video, and I love everything you guys do, but that has made me laugh hard enough to send a special delivery of hot fudge into my pants. Y'all are the best.

Interesting explore. Noticed some 1940’s paint on the walls after arch 11. It was discovered that people worked harder with a green yellow wall (really) which suggests it was a well used resource. Watch out for the sewage smell as loads of health problems you can get from that. As for the loads of bricks on the floor I was almost shouting look up! Great fun thank you.
