If anyone says this was Normandy, the battle of gallipoli was also at a beach, I know that because I have a diary of my great grandpa who fought in ww1 the battle of gallipoli and he survived to see the end of 1949

My great great great uncle was in gallipoli can’t imagine going through this. Salute to all the soldiers in Gallipoli and also ww1 as a whole🫡

The last photo was not Gallipoli. Note the man wearing the Brodie helmet? The Gallipoli campaign was in 1915 and Brodie's saw service in 1916.

Lets go to New zealand and Australia! I'm in New zealand and people have been telling me about the Anzac's and there is an Anzac's day to remember the soldier that participated on the battle. Anzac means Australia New zealand army corp!
