Literally the 10th video I watched to find someone who actually knows what they are talking about and not just videotaping themselves blindly following wire diagrams.

You deserve recognition for your attention to detail in your explanations.

Hats off to you. Thank you.

Thank you so much, your video is the ONLY video that explained that I need to move the nuteral wire to the chassy when I'm installing the three prong cord (for my older home).

Thank you for clearly explaining the connection and layout of the green/yellow wire. I've been trying to find a concise answer for 3 hours for swapping a 4 wire cord to a 3 wire cord, and you were the only person to make it clear.

Thank you! I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone what to do with the white wire when changing from a 4 prong cord to a 3 prong cord. I took the white to the ground screw as you indicated. Great video

Thank you sir. I was confused as everyone says connect white to white. But my 3 wire plug and dryer actually has the green and yellow wire as the neutral ground. So thanks for explaining that it can be both white and green and yellow. Simple and we'll explained tutorial for those DIY- ers. Thanks a lot

Fantastic video, you are the only one who I’ve found that has included ALL the details including some dryers having a white pigtail and some having a green and yellow (they serve the same function right? That’s what you made it sound like), where the pigtail comes from, the electrical diagrams, everything. I now feel completely safe going to hook up my dryer thanks!!

Thank you for sharing this video. My Home Depot was no help. Between friends' advice and yours I finally felt confident to make the necessary connections for my installation. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this! We just got a dryer from a friend and the plug wasn't connected to the dryer at all and I had NO idea how to hook it up because there wasn't a green space. This video saved me!

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. Your way of teaching was beautiful. I wanted to know about the yellow green wire. I was confused about where to put that wire after you take it out and put the soild green there for the ground. It wasn't until I saw where it went from your drawing. You did a good job, I wish you could have explained what to do with that wire after it is replaced. It can't be all willy nilly in there. 😂 Okay I'm trying this wish me luck. 😂

Super helpful to know the neutral (middle) cord goes to ground! I am trying to change the cord on my kiln, and forgot to take a photo before I unhooked all the old wires. Between your video and several kiln maintenance videos, I think I've got it figured out where all 3 of the new cords go. Thanks!

Thanks for this video. I was really confused when I pulled out the 3 wire and I was replacing with 4 wire.
