Thank you sir. I was confused as everyone says connect white to white. But my 3 wire plug and dryer actually has the green and yellow wire as the neutral ground. Fantastic video, you are the only one who I’ve found that has included ALL the details including some dryers having a white pigtail and some having a green and yellow (they serve the same function right? That’s what you made it sound like), where the pigtail comes from, the electrical diagrams, everything. I now feel completely safe going to hook up my dryer thanks!!

I was confused about where to put that wire after you take it out and put the soild green there for the ground. It wasn't until I saw where it went from your drawing. Super helpful to know the neutral (middle) cord goes to ground! I am trying to change the cord on my kiln, and forgot to take a photo before I unhooked all the old wires. Between your video and several kiln maintenance videos, I think I've got it figured out where all 3 of the new cords go. Thanks!
