I personally love it when the corned beef is fork tender and falls apart. Cooking it with the cabbage and making it basically a stew is the Irish way and so tasty

I made this for the first time two days ago. I followed your advice about rinsing the beef thoroughly first before cooking as well as using at least 16 cups of water. Turned out great and not too salty. Everyone liked it. Thank you very much.
