It's not likely the Corolla Cross will get this hybrid system for the US market. US market models will likely get the 2ZR-FAE and/or M20A-FKS engines, similar to the US-market Corolla sedan lineup.

Hyundai is doing a better job then Toyota with their hybrid which has 1.6 turbo but Toyota still using such an old system. I thought Mr. Toyoda wants to make cars more fun to drive?
