Well, what do you expect? It's an economy car, not a Ferrari.

It's weird I have the same version and in sport mode I do 9.7 sec 0-100 km

I have the same car UK spec. The 0-60 (0-96km) is slow on this one!!
Mine is a ALOT quicker - Swapping out the factory air filter for a K&N flat panel makes a huge difference. I've wheel spun mine a few times pulling hard from a turning etc. Lowered mine too with RSR superdown springs

This car can do 80% of this acceleration with no noise at 2k rpm. My is shitbox, ugly, wrong collor and probably with me forever as I had 220k km with no issue. Worth it keeping 8k euro toyota after 5y lease? if I will have close to 400k on it if car hits 10y old in 2029?

It's a joke??? 12 sec-> 100 with 122 hp (and 70 electric hp)!!!! Whatis the weight? 2500 kg?

For better result you should break and floor the acceleration than release the breaker as an automatic gear should be launched

Probably this car did not go through a proper break in procedure. Or the road where you tried it has a slight slope that you didn't notice. Or maybe you have heavy load inside of the car. My Corolla actually reaches 100km/h in 10.6 seconds on average.

Damn that's slow. My C-Max can hit 100KMH in about 7-8 seconds (depending on how much charge the hybrid battery has). It's a damn shame that Ford stopped making hybrids because they were so much faster than Toyota's offerings. 188Hp with the engine and electric motor combined, but the near instant torque of the electric motor makes it feel even faster than the numbers suggest. Feels like driving a turbo without the lag.

Painful to watch. Surely there's a mode for faster acceleration? Makes the Kia Niro look quite fast.

i have the 225/18/4 wheels and in sport mode with a full battery + 100octane gas it does far better than this.
under 10sec.

Toyota hybrids are very bizzare in this regard.
But who dragraces a hybrid saloon anyway??
