1st of all, the title of the video is incorrect. It's a misconception that psychology is mind reading. In fact, it is the study of behaviour of an organism.

I found that the waves stood out and were unique from the other symbols. The star I figured would be a common choice since a fair amount of human preferences revolve around stars. The cross drew my attention because it made me think of Christianity, probably a common choice as well. The square however, barely sparked my attention, so I chose that one.

My first instinct was wavy lines, then I noticed the table which had a wavy wood pattern, and that the card was askew, so I chose star. It is interesting my instinct was to choose the wavy line though. My next preference would've been cross then square last, like in the survey!
