How to Fix Blank White Icons on Desktop on Windows 10 or 11 (Fast Method)

Do you want to know how to fix blank white icons on your desktop for windows 11 or windows 10 PC! To do this search for RUN and then type in appdata. Then go to local and delete the Icondata from the folder. Then go to the task manager and restart the internetexplorer and you icons should display now on your computer.

That worked for me! Thanks. This mostly happens when the exe icon cache has gotten corrupted. If this is not working for you, you can try changing the shortcut's icon from properties and then change icon. Then select the shortcut's exe file (if the icon is showing on it) If after doing this the icon still doesn't show, do what he did in the video again.

Thank you so much, it worked!! Any other site and forum said to just delete the iconcache file and that never worked because they forgot to mention that you also have to restart windows explorer in task manager

I would think the problem is not yet solved. The video screen still showed the Logitech G hub from 'blank icon' to be an arbitrary icon. The origin icon may not look like this. I have same problem too and not able to show the original icons by using same method.

please someone help me i would be more than GRATEFUL why is it whenever i download something it just shows a white blank icon. LIKE a sheet of paper type icon then i click on it and it ask me if i wanna open it with snapchat or notes and i did both of em and it didint work it wont let me install ANYTHING someone please help me out to make the downkoad a zip file like i need to i already tried this vid it did NOT work
