Many reasons. Besides build quality alone there is the huge amounts of Apps and useful ones I need at that and the Ecosystem which rocks.

Just picking up the two you can tell the difference. Plus the screen on the Nexus is so squashed and the tablets are the same size (besides the fact the Ipad is thinner). And the Apps that I need for my own work are only available on the Ipad. Whether they are increasing every day or not so is the Ipads.

You can argue their pricing strategy all you want, but the fact of the matter is; a more dynamic app store with apps that run smoother, even though other tablets may have more processing power.

The Google Nexus 7 is as well made as the iPad mini and they have equal performance and the gap between the number of apps available is decreasing every day.

So again how exactly is the iPad mini worth nearly twice as much?

I never even heard of the Pippin. Geez. Apple TV? Somehow I blinked and missed that too. Amazing how people make it seem like everything that comes out of that company is instant gold. I do recall that The X-Files Game I still have around here somewhere made use of a virtual Newton as a tool in the game.

Whahah...The 20th Anny Mac ...Pros - All in one design and 12" display. Same as my old Dell Latitude x300 ...course it came out like 7 years later.
