CNET Top 5 - Features Apple needs in iOS 7

In light of the success and recent advancements in Android, here are five must-have features Apple needs in iOS 7.

Bell, there are several offline map apps that are available. Automatic updating would hopefully an option like in the Android market. Multi-task on the ios is annoying. I kind of wish they didn't have it to some degree. But you hit the nail when you talking about settings. Some people were able to create short-cuts, but ios 6 stopped. Either way, if my iPhone 4 isn't included with it, then they've guaranteed me in going else where on my next phone.

i agree with you, update apps wasn't even tedious to begin with. unlock screen and i see the number of updates, open app, press update all and im done.

I have an iPad and iPhone, but have little hope in apple to do much. The iPhone needs a full makeover in software. The iPad needs a minor makeover because it still feels new

reason #3 rebuff: you can get google maps in the app store you can choose which maps you wanna use

I agree. But still easier to just jailbreak when and if it becomes available.

the automatic app updates isn't really NEEDED, I like seeing the release notes

at least the cheep plastic back makes it able to change the battery, add more memory, and even change the sim card if you change providers. how can the htc 1 do that .

@rubberdukk2424 on android you can go into the app information and disable them which is as almost the same as deleting them until you root

Yep, happened to me too. The mouse-hover preview function showed a different image but the video just stopped.

The multiple accounts for iPad is a great idea. I have about 3 siblings who needs to use it without sharing personal information.

I agree with all of those! And yeah, more of a windows 8 kinda app display, but still same size applications.

i agree that the HTC One is better but i have Verizon and they dont offer the HTC One...

I was so disappointed when you took over top 5's. After the first few now your top 5's are the best! Thank You I know many people hate cause they think you're picking sides but, if you watch other videos you are just as real or harsh on everything and I appreciate it!

I have an iPhone 5 right now and am switching to verizon in 2 weeks. This weeks WWDC is definitely going to either make or break me getting a new iPhone or switching over to Android again.

This is not what iOS NEEDS, it's what you want. I only agreed with you on one thing. What about a redesign? Something most people would love to see not "automatic updates."

Do other people not use newsstand? I have a newspaper and three magazines that I read at least one of everyday I think it's good

What Apple really needs is a HTC One. And this is coming from an iPhone user since 2007 non-stop.

if they do it the same way android has, you can make it that it only auto-updates when you are on wifi.
