I do magazine layouts so items 2 - 5 were already familiar to me but 1 was an eye opener. I've always used Place to put images into my designs. Had no idea I could just drag and drop. Thank you for this tip - worth watching the video just for this. On Preflight - I have my preflight set to cover all possibilities. The images I receive are all RGB so it's vital they be CMYK before sending to the printer. The tough preflight conditions I put into InDesign have saved my bacon a few times. Really important if you're doing print work.

This looks great! I use most of these but since I have to share a lot of project files I cannot place PSDs or AIs because then when packaging it, the file size would just be way too big.
Or maybe theres a way to quickly replace a bunch of image files with PNGs before packaging?
