General election: Boris Johnson says 'MPs are refusing to deliver Brexit'

Boris Johnson has used his campaign launch to attack MPs for "refusing time and time again to deliver Brexit".

In an address outside Number 10, the Prime Minister said: "I don’t want an early election and no one much wants to have an election in December, but we’ve got to the stage where we have no choice because our parliament is paralysed."

He described Parliament's voting decisions on Brexit as "mind-boggling".

He advocates a points-based immigration system based on that of Australia. He neglects to disclose that Australia admits proportionally more immigrants than does the UK. Strange that.
He also neglects to mention that many of the services that UK citizens depend on (such as the NHS) are already suffering because immigrants who were staffing them have started to leave.
Oh well. It appears that immigration is not necessarily going to be a problem in the medium to longer term.
