BREAKING: Boris Johnson has called for a general election, saying it is "very sad" MPs have voted to block no-deal Brexit. "There must now be an election on Tuesday 15th October."

He told MPs the house has left no other option but letting the public decide who is prime minister.

He criticised the vote to stop no-deal saying MPs have voted to "stop and scupper any serious negotiations".

Both parties agree to a divorce. But the wife refuses to sign the papers. This is as dysfunctional as it gets.

I’m all for brexit. As an American I have no idea what is going on. I just know it sounds like breakfast, and I’m always ready for breakfast.

Parliament is defending itself in a very courageous way honor to them and the British politicians in overcoming
a very difficult time realizing that there is much more at stake in Brexit and that on both sides of Dover strait
we all remember the devastating wars with soo many young people sacrificed This is what happens when the power shut down discussion in open debates

This would never happen but, I'd prefer it, if they put out another vote and called this one "the one" and basically gave the following options "Brexit with no deal" "Brexit with a deal, whatever deal can be made in 31 days, if negotiations can't be met, then we go with EU's offer" "No Brexit and go back to EU".

No Brexit - stay in the single market, freedom of movement, whatever EU wants.

Brexit with Deal - whatever can be done in 31 days. Absolutely no time extension.

Hard Brexit - In 31 days, we leave. EU can offer whatever deal they like but we choose what the final result is and then leave. No freedom of movement. No EU control.

No appeal to any vote for minimum 5 years.

if the election ends up picking a pro-eu PM and the parliament is as is, then brexit would be finished.

Neil Hedley --- We voted to take back control - And we have - Why whinge
Because the Referendum was 17.4 Million Votes to Leave the EU. Not 327 MPs saying we can't without a deal. When those MPs stood on manifestos stating they would honour the Referendum Result. 327 MPs are not following the Democratic votes of the people. They are overthrowing the Democratic will of the People for their own views.

You’d almost think all these remain politicians claiming this unprecedented action is all about preventing no deal don’t really want to go in front of the electorate and use the opportunity to explain the details of the deal they’d seek, how they ‘d get the EU to agree, when they would complete and we’d leave and how much they’d be prepared to pay for the deal and where that money would come from 🤔

A new General Election will see the leave vote split between the Tories and The Brexit Party and will leave the door open for a Labour/Lib Dem Coalition.
Should be interesting few weeks ahead 😃
