Changli being a hybrid like YinLin means she may be useful for longer than a pure dps
and TWO HUGE reasons to pull for her, she is HOT

...But I don't think she is nearly as good as Yinlin as a sub-DPS.

She seems to need more field time to do her job/build concerto energy, has no coordinated attacks, lower damage to field time ratio, and if the info on this video is accurate, even her outro is weaker as well. (Yinlin's outro basically provides the same buufs but lasts for 14s, while Changli's only lasts for 10s)

Also, at least for now, there is no meta character who fully synergises with her buffs.

It's also worth mentioning that Changli has recieved the "Main Damage Dealer" tag on her in-game description, but not the "Concerto Efficiency" tag. (which is usually reserved for sub-DPS)

So... Yeah. I think Changli is more suited to act as main-DPS who also provides some team utility / buffs a burst damage dealer, rather than act as a sub-DPS for another hypercarry like Yinlin.

Anyway, it's likely that she will get a character who synergises well with her in the future. (Maybe they will make Scar a burst damage dealer who does a ton of liberation dmg without taking much field time? Who knows.) And even for now she looks like a solid pick. Just... Don't expect her to be another Yinlin in terms of account value or resistance to powercreep.

Meta-wise, if you're f2p and Kuro doesn't adjust her current kits, Changli is a skip. She has few problems.

As a main dps, she's pretty much a fusion Calcharo. Compared to Jiyan, Changli+sign has dmg slightly below him but the rotation is very long and strict since her sign has a very ass buff window that can be easily wasted if you do anything wrong (just like Cal's ult/DM), while Jiyan is braindead easy.

As sub dps, Changli isn't comparable to Yinlin at all. Changli needs longer field time, her outro buff is shorter, and doesn't provide coordinated attack or off-field dmg.

But, if you are like me, I'd still pull her since she has two 😍 massive 😍 reasons that I love.

I was lucky enough toy get both Jinshi and Changli, but truthfully I kinda regret pulling Jinshi as I really don't like her play style. On the other hand, I absolutely LOVE Changli, the Flame Empress.

if you like changli pull but if youre trying to get the best character for longevity shes probably the worse of the 4 jinhsi has the highest damage in the game unless they make a character with more numbers than her shes going to be hard to powercreep xiangli yao might be free so theres literally no cons to this guy zhezhi has glacio amp and skill amp shes already going to be top 2 most valueble character on release along with yinlin

changli is in such a weird position shes supposed to be main dps but her damage is not as good as jinhsi or jiyan she could be sub dps but her outro is shorter she has a longer rotation and provides no coordinated attack or off field dps like yinlin her only real value longevity wise is her outro buff so if they dont release a fusion buffer then shes gonna be fine but if they do her value is gonna plummet but if you plan to main fusion seeing scar has a high chance to be fusion pull it might be a long time before we see a fusion buffer or if youre not sure just skip for now and just wait for her rerun by that point you already know what you want

i have encore will be good part with changli, but cause the rumors and leak about zhezi make me confuse to pull who?. the playstule zhezi make me interesting and good to see and play.

ngl. kinda L take if you didn't test chang li during the story mode. She is not a sub-dps like yinlin. Her onfield time is too long and the outro skill is a bait.

for Wuthering waves, i always pull for fave characters, since using any characters are viable as long players are skilled anough. unlike Genshin, skills / elementals are locked on to characters combinations. gonna go for Changli and Camellya in future. Even I have more fun with Danjin & San hua
