Sorry in advance for my lack of knowledge on this BUT, if you have a 110 outlet, does this wall charger make charging any faster? If I want to charge a motorcycle that takes 9 hours on a 110 standard 3 prong outlet, will this (changing the amperage or whatever) decrease the charging time?

So I just bought one of these chargers. Plugged it in to a 120v. Receptical. Shows 12 amps on the charger. And only chargers my car with 1kw. What's the the deal with that?
