What everyone never understands is that Kars isn't evil, he respects life and all creatures but he puts his own goals above it. That's why he also saved a puppy from a car accident

Honestly? I like the laughless version more. instead of just this maniacal madman with seizure-inducing kanji and screen shakes, you get this calming, solemn Kars that just accept it. The laugh is still great, don't get me wrong, but I feel like the scene takes on a whole new meaning without the laugh.

People don't seem to note how the only reason Kars respects them is because they have things he doesn't, the second he became ultimate Kars he immediately saw it as completely fine for him to kill all life

At first I was thinking this was more of respecting nature and seeing humans as foolish/inferior. Later on after killing the squirrel and doing some thinking, Kars did this out of his own superiority complex. Until he becomes the ultimate lifeform, how can he say he's better than these other creatures or plants? He can't exactly photosynthesize in his original form.

Guys, come on, he simply shows respect for other small creatures (like in this scene and with the dog that would've been run over) because he's not the ultimate lifeform yet, so he's honestly not sure if he's better than other life. He clearly doesn't "love nature" because the very first thing he does when he becomes the ultimate lifeform is find the nearest small creature (the squirrel), make his own version of the it, and then have his creation kill everything around it, officially confirmed that he as a lifeform has surpassed all other lifeforms in every conceivable and measurable way.
