tbh sukuna has no way to defeat kars, since kars is unkillable with an insane regen, and each hit from kars is like getting hit by the sun, combined with his abilities of each and every life form on earth, sukuna will lose 10/10 times

edit: ppl are really underestimating kars in the comments, the fact that kars is unkillable already means it's over for sukuna, sukuna can turn kars into mice meat and kars will regenerate in seconds

not only this, kars can simply cover his entire body in hamon, and as we know, kars' hamon is as hot as sun, meaning even touching kars is impossible for sukuna, one hit from kars and sukuna will sustain heavy damage

and on top of that, kars will learn how to utilize cursed energy after seeing sukuna use it, and kars' usage of cursed energy will be 100x better than sukuna (pl say that this ability of kars is from novel not from anime/manga but they're wrong, kars' ability to copy anything is his intelligence, kars is so intelligent he can learn anything in seconds after seeing it once and he makes it 100x better than the original, this is what he does in the novel, he sees a stand, understands the concept behind it and recreates it from scratch but also better than the original, anime/manga kars can do the same, and we literally saw it happening on screen, when he learned hamon even tho he had never used it before, and his hamon was 100x more potent, this is exactly what novel kars does, they both are same)

I feel like both sides are glazing like crazy so imma be factual and objective to the best of my abilities as i do enjoy both series and both characters. That being said i believe Kars would likely win.

For one Kars is way more durable then any character sukuna has ever faught. He survived drowning in an active volcano and even the vacuum of space itself and while he did lose after being sent to space, the vacuum of space itself never actually killed him. He just couldn't get back to earth and was eventually driven insane. Not only was Kars able to survive a plane crash into an active volcano but he has such amazing regenerative powers that he recovered almost instantly. His durability and his insane regen would make him incredibly difficult to even kill. Sukuna could cleave and dismantle him hundreds of times and it just wouldn't do anything.

Kars is also way faster then sukuna, the fastest thing sukuna has ever reacted to was Kashimo's lightning while injured however Joseph has demonstrated numerous times the ability to react to light speed and in the context of their final battle Kars is meant to be way faster and stronger then Joseph which would put him at light or faster then light. Now sukuna does have a garunteed hit with his domain but as mentioned previously Kars is going to tank and regenerate from it.

Finally there are abilities. Sukuna has his techniques, domain, the ability to make binding vows to make trade offs for powers, his fire and if you wanna give it to him Megumi's ten shadows and while those abilities are really good they pale in comparison to the hacks and versatility of Ultimate Lifeform Kars. Kars can gain use the abilities of all living organisms, alter them and enhance them greatly giving him litterally thousands of possible combinations. Not only this but he can also create living things that had abilities far greater then normal such as those pirahnnas which were able to chew through an aeroplane. I believe with that ability alone Kars can counter every single ten shadows Shikigami except Mahoraga. Kars also is a master with hamon, his hamon is as potent as the sun itself which neither Mahoraga or Sukuna could survive an attack from. Not only this but Hamon has other hax such as insane healing, the ability to read minds and control somebodies body as well as even predict the future to an extent. Keep in mind these are all abilities disolayed by weaker inferior hamon users who kars will be 100 times better then.

Kars can literally instantly copying every ability of living being on Earth and make it 100x more powerful and better. So its like Sukuna vs 100x Stronger Sukuna.

Better yet, his hamon is so strong he probably can predict the future. Its been explained in Part 1, the stronger your hamon is, the better you can predict future just like how Tonpetty predicting Zeppeli's future.
