What I like about Paul is that he is open to changing his mind. He was vegan for years, then carnivore, then he added honey, then he added fruits. Most doctors aren’t open to change and think they know everything.

I count a good healthy grass fed cow as a vegetable.

Vitamin K2 is great for arteries and the reason they can unclog apparently.

I am grateful to be learning this at 48 years old. Better late than never.

Early on this guy was so intense with his videos that I couldn’t watch them. He’s really mellowed out and comes with a great approach now. I enjoy learning from him.

Except for fiber 🤷🏼‍♂️ pretty important

Plant foods exclusively contain two critical nutrients: fiber and phytonutrients

The guy does eat fruit and honey too. So a lot of it makes sense for guys like me who don't care much for vegetables. And deep fried stuff makes my gut feel awful.

Gonna say, when I worked on a biodynamic farm for a year and a half I was mostly vegetarian. My mind was clearer, I was less aggressive (a good thing on these types of farms because there are a plethora of animals and are sensitive), and my craps felt GOOD for the first time in my life. I ate raw yogurt, raw milk, and eggs as well.

My grandfather ate steak, smoked a pack of cigarettes everyday, and drank a bottle of jack as well (Texas geologist so he was just rich). He died of a heart attack on a toilet.

I eat meat that I kill, it’s more fulfilling and biodynamic meat is the best meat I’ve ever eaten. So rich in flavor.

But I do take a note from warrior cultures of the past. Sometimes while wrangling an animal I’d pull a muscle, and it takes a long time to heal with just plants so a hunk of red meat helps me recover in one evening. I have O- blood too, so I just need the iron on moderate occasion.

All in moderation people, don’t get too extreme.

Choline is in plant foods as well. Certain beans (such as kidney beans and soybeans), cauliflower, broccoli, etc.

All I will say is this.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease when I was 15, suffered through anal bleeding, cramps, basically shitting out liquid for years because I couldn't understand what to eat.

Developed cancer in my lower intestine when I was 21 and needed to have surgery to remove a part of my intestine where the cancer was and have the two ends sewn together.

After this I needed to be really special about what I ate, I tried vegan, I tried vegetarian.

But the only diet that showered any results was keto, high meat and fat and low carbs.

If I eat to many vegetables j will feel worse and have terrible symptoms because of the fibre.

If you have ever learned bio accumulation you would know toxins become more concentrated the more it’s passed down the food chain. Sure the same vitamins and nutrients that are found in plants can be found in the animals that eat those plants but the bio availability is not the same. That animal has already process those nutrients and it’s in their muscle tissue and organs now, and does not have the same fiber and other chemicals for it to be processed with the same bioavailability in your body versus the animals body that already processed it. On top of that the toxins that are in many plants accumulate in that animal no more concentrated so that is why meat is highly oxidative an inflammatory.
