Fun fact: I lost my 3ds for about a year, and when I found it it had 3 quarters of its battery. Other than the hinge breaking it is the best Nintendo console full stop

The Nintendo Switch just needs a few upgrades, the Home Menu, the Wallpaper options, the Settings, the Mii app, and the Eshop.

I like the 3ds more than the switch mainly because of the customization and themes you can put on there. Also miiverse and other online experiences made this console very memorable. Switch lacks in these areas.

Hot take: For those who have not played a virtual boy it is 100% something I would considered handheld. It’s a 32bit AA Battery powered system just like the GBA family.

It was an absolute failure of a console but honestly really cool and has aged better than most people give it credit for!

i always thought the micro was cool because of the faceplate and the fact that it was so tiny 😃 but then i got an SP simply for the backwards compatibility

You didn't dote on the SP. Def tells me you are younger. The first foldable and it had a backlight? It was the first true advancement in gameboy and a solid stage holder of a handheld

I hope you Wii U fans ain’t complaining about the Gamepad not being included, because that isn’t a handheld. It’s just a controller but with a large screen added.
