Shakedown Hawaii was already on the wii, however it was WiiWare, that was a physical release. The real last game was Just Dance 2020

For NES, it was Earth Bound beginnings being released on 2015, which is a year before the NES Classic so great timing!

The original Wii model and the Family Edition were both discontinued on 2013 (7 years before the last Wii game). However, the Wii mini was discontinued on 2017, so I guess that is the official year the console was discontinued

2020 for the Wii isn't bad you know. I thought it was something like 2014 - 2015. It just shows how great the Wii console was. I still play it most days.

fun fact about shakedown hawaii, it was a limited release along with retro city rampage and i sat there refreshing the page, waiting for it to go up for sale, and it was sold out before i could even click buy

And that last Wii game wasn't a completely sudden outlier either, as there was Just Dance 2020 which came out in 2019, just the previous year. (If I remember correctly, the Wii version of that game actually outsold both the Xbox and Playstation versions funnily enough, making it the second-most-successful version, the most being the Switch version).

It would be funny if another Wii release randomly drops again. Honestly I would possibly buy it just for the funnies even though it would most likely be something I'd otherwise have no interest in, as I am still a pretty regular Wii user.
