Good job making this! I had no idea about this either! It should be full range to begin with!

This setting depends on your tv, most tv's support full range but it may hide a lot of details especially in the dark scenes if your tv doesn't adapt to it automatically. So like with Samsung TV's it's recommended if you put this to full range then you should also have black level from your tv set up to "normal" if you don't want to lose details. When using limited range, then you should have black level set up to "low". If the game looks too washed out then i just recommend using like dynamic contrast settings or just sliding the contrast to the max and maybe adding little more color saturation and maybe reducing the brightness a little, this way you won't lose so many details and it will still look less washed out, but don't reduce the brightness too much because that will lose details from dark scenes. Some people don't mind losing details so in that case sure use full range with low black level, it will look very dynamic and colorful and some scenes will be very dark.

Glad I figured this out myself, adjusted this and my TV's display settings. I thought Zelda looked good before, after doing that it made it look EVEN better.

Yes, you should match RGB settings to match what your TV is able to handle. Fun fact, when capturing video footage this setting should also be matched.

Full range RGB always make games look better, my PS3 and PS4 has been set to RGB full since day one.
To those who didn't know about this before, you can now go set all of your HD consoles (360/XBO/PS3/PS4/WiiU) to RGB full range to make games look ''better'' (better contrast, better color, enhanced lighting etc.)
The only potential downside is that it could make dark environments look too dark. So take it in consideration if you want to play games like Outlast in RGB full range mode.

If you want this game to look even better, adjust your TV settings.
Set your black level to low, up the contrast a little, set your color warmth 10% to 20% warmer than what it is now.
and then finally, up your brightness by 10%.
Try it out.

Thanks bro this actually helped me because whenever I’m playing Fortnite my screen is a little frezzy and laggy when I’m fighting people. And now I’m improving. Thanks again bro ❤👍

Wonder if they need to add a setting for handheld mode because it sometimes looks washed out.

Did you really find out or have you seen any of the other videos regarding this popping up? :) Anyway, you forgot an important detail: It's also very important to also set your screen's input to full range so it doesn't try to "upscale" the limited range to the full thing, which might break color variation in a similar way. It's not the same for all sets of projectors, TVs, etc. but it can make another difference. Make sure both ends are set to

If your display isn't set up for full range you may find it difficult to see in dark areas the colours may be brighter but your actually getting less detail, works fine for 2D games though, most tv's are limited range. Only displays with colour space options should use full range so that you can then set the colour space to match the range dumba55, that's probably why it goes to limited on automatic with your setup.
