Playing with fluid sims for a while now and it really all comes down to resolution. How much time are you willing to wait for a bake and how beefy is your system. The smaller the voxels the more like fluid it is going to behave rolling off the ship. For an individual playing with FLIP in Blender, this is pretty solid. Well done!

No idea how impressive the work behind this is, but for realism feel(assuming that's a focus point of this animation) I can say that the water looks like it's 90% gelatine, or just glue. The fluid looks relatively nice with lighting, it just have a very low impact particle collision detection. Again I'm gonna say I have noe idea how to fix these things, but related to what I was talking about it would feel a lot better if the fluid was moving/adjusting more rapidly. Atm it looks like everything is in low-grav.
Love the animation, I just wanted to leave some feedback as a viewer :)

It was quite anti-climatic for the duration and how it abruptly ends, and as pointed out before, indeed the water looks like in chunks, but it's really not your fault, fluid simulations are one of the most complex things in 3D, whole companies and artists are dedicated to these simulations, so to be made by yourself it looks really great, made a scene by scene comparison would have been nice :D
