I cannot stand how fake people act on social media. I’m brutally honest and open about everything on social media and I complain about every detail of my life on there, mostly about my personal medical history. My mom threatens to cut down the internet and makes me take off any negative feelings I post on social media. And I would rather be honest about everything than pretend like all is ok when I’m suffering

Social media can be good in many ways. You can connect to people and friends and family oversea. You can share and endorse important causes and charities. You can share your work and be inspired by others' work. You can get info on certain places, such as restaurants in a area you never been to. You meet many different types of people and learn about a world outside of your place. That fitness model on insta can be your inspiration to eat better and maybe be more active.
Yes, there is a dark side, such as the rude people and the greater probability of fakness, but rude people and fake people exist in real life as well. At least on social media you can leave a chat when you meet someone rude lol
But yea, social media isn't good, or bad. How you use it and how you let it affect you will make it good, or bad.
When you change your perception of the world, the world changes.

I don’t understand why people do so much to get attention. I couldn’t care less what other human beings think about me.
