I think the problem starts when you need to constantly comparw your life with others. There is always going to be someone who has better body, better skin or better clothes than you, as there are some that are worse. You will never be the greatest and you will never be the worst. So start loving yourself as you are, always trying to be a better person, but with what really matters in life.

Moral lesson: 1. Don't show off everything on social media because there are people out there who get envious of what you have. Worse get depressed because they can't live the life of previledged people even if they work their whole life.
2. Unfollow people who can't contribute to your growth-to become a better person- and pushes you to live a contented and happy life. Unfollow people that makes you feel depress and not feel blessed. That's self love

The ending would be better if the famous girl in instagram said something like "look what i got for a present from my bf! Im so lucky" and our girl understood that this whole virtual life is a big lie and she doesnt need to feel bad about this fake perfection and then unfollowed.

I’ve had insta before and it destroyed me I was depressed and sad all the time it ruined my life then once I deleted it I felt free like I got out of prison or something

This is exactly why I quit all social media more than a year ago aside from YouTube which I only use to watch videos and make the occasional comment.

I deleted insta only because the notifications were disturbing me when watching Netflix. I never really cared about what other people did and do because even if I had the chance to do all those stuff and get all those useless things I couldn’t be bothered to do anything. And the only reason I didn’t delete insta earlier on was because of the memes, they were just too addictive.

A good short film you got there to tell everyone to follow the real not the fake. Except that to live the life with hardwork and dedication not with artificial happiness. Way more work is needed to develop this film in the stage of perfection.
